City of Ryde Council is seeking community feedback on the changes to its draft Code of Meeting Practice (the Code) that governs the way the City of Ryde conducts Council and Committee meetings.

The Code sets standards for calling, conducting and recording Council and Committee meetings and ensures the structure and process provides fair opportunities for participation.

The Code is based on the new Model Code of Meeting Practice for Local Councils in New South Wales that has been recently released by the NSW Office of Local Government.

Hard copies of the exhibited document are available for viewing at City of Ryde Libraries.

Visit the Libraries webpage for location and operating times.
