About Have Your Say

City of Ryde works closely with our communities including residents, ratepayers, businesses and stakeholders, to guide our planning and decision making.

This online platform, Have Your Say, helps you share your thoughts on a range of Council’s plans, policies and proposals. Some examples include long term planning documents such as our Community Strategic Plan and Delivery Program, town centre planning initiatives and proposed upgrades to parks and playgrounds.

Listening to our community is a key part of achieving the vision set out in our Community Strategic Plan – that the City of Ryde is the place to be for lifestyle and opportunity. By listening and valuing your input, we build trust, transparency and shared ownership of our City.

Our Community Engagement Strategy guides our approach to make sure we hear from people across our diverse and vibrant community. This helps us make balanced decisions to support a liveable, inclusive and forward-looking City. The Strategy is available in English, Chinese Simplified, Korean and Easy Read.
