The City of Ryde is continuing to evolve, so how we move around our community must evolve too. Our draft Sustainable Transport Plan 2031 has been developed with the aim to prioritise a sustainable transport future.
Under our Net Zero Emissions Pathway, Council has committed to achieving Net Zero emissions for Council operations by 2035 and for our community by 2040. Given approximately 23% of CO₂ emissions in our City come from transport, making transport more sustainable is key to reaching these targets.

This Plan will be one of the supporting plans for our new Integrated Transport Strategy 2045.
