City of Ryde is committed to supporting and nurturing children and family friendly communities through play.

Council’s Children’s Play Implementation Plan responds to this vision and aims to provide safe, accessible, and high-quality playgrounds for all families in our community.

As part of this commitment, Council will be upgrading the playground at Tennyson Park, Tennyson Point.

We invited community feedback on the draft concept plan for the playground upgrade. The proposed design includes:

  • combination play equipment with climbing ropes and a slide
  • aeroskate dynamic play
  • springer play equipment
  • natural play balance bridge
  • swing set, including a toddler seat.
